Our Pick & Mix Wax Melts - Are they CLP Compliant?
At Floral Stories, we wanted to create a wax melt experience that allows you to discover new fragrances, mix your favourites, and build a collection that feels uniquely yours.
Our Pick & Mix Wax Melt option has been thoughtfully designed to minimise unnecessary packaging whilst giving you the freedom to choose the scents that speak to you.
To reduce waste, individual melts are not packaged separately. Instead, every Pick & Mix order includes a comprehensive ingredient and safety information leaflet containing the CLP information, allergens and warnings for our entire wax melt collection. This ensures you have all the information you need, regardless of which fragrances you select.
Our approach allows us to significantly reduce packaging and plastic use whilst remaining fully compliant with UK CLP regulations.

How Long Will My Wax Melts Last?
Each Floral Stories wax melt has been carefully blended to fill your home with fragrance for approximately 20 hours. Some fragrances naturally linger longer than others, with our citrus scents often offering the longest scent throw.
For the best experience, we recommend using a 4-hour tealight or an electric wax warmer.

Every Floral Stories candle, wax melt and room mist is handcrafted using a blend of premium fragrance oils and carefully selected essential oils.
Each fragrance is designed to create a beautiful scent experience that lasts, whilst remaining true to the story and inspiration behind the collection.

Cleaning Your Wax Burner
Our soy wax is natural, biodegradable and easy to clean.
Once your wax has completely cooled and hardened, simply apply gentle pressure to the edge and the wax should release from your burner in one piece. Because soy wax is a natural product, colour and texture may vary slightly from batch to batch.
If you're having trouble removing wax, allow your burner to cool completely before trying again. Any remaining residue can be gently wiped away with kitchen roll.

At Floral Stories, we believe beautiful products shouldn't come at the expense of the environment.
Our wax melts are packaged with as little plastic as possible, and all required safety and ingredient information is provided on a separate insert rather than individual packaging. This allows us to reduce unnecessary waste whilst remaining fully compliant with UK regulations.
Our candles are poured into glass jars that can be repurposed and our amber glass jars are made here in the UK.
Wherever possible, we source responsibly and choose packaging that is kinder to the planet.
Cruelty Free
All Floral Stories products are never tested on animals.
Our products are made using natural soy wax and a blend of fragrance oils selected for their quality and performance. We proudly source from trusted UK suppliers wherever possible.
Pregnancy & Essential Oils
Some of our fragrances contain essential oils. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any concerns regarding fragrance use, we recommend seeking advice from your midwife or healthcare professional before use.
Wax Melt Safety
• Always use a suitable wax burner designed for wax melts.
• We recommend using a standard 4-hour tealight.
• Never leave a lit burner unattended.
• Keep away from children, pets and draughts.
• Do not overfill your burner.
• Allow wax to cool completely before handling.
• Stop use if your burner becomes damaged or excessively hot.
Candle Safety
To get the best from your Floral Stories candle, always burn with a little care.
Before each burn, trim the wick to approximately 5mm. Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from draughts, children, pets and anything that could catch fire.
Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during each burn where possible, but never burn your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.
Never leave a burning candle unattended or move it while lit. Keep the wax pool clear of matches, wick trimmings and other debris, and always leave plenty of space between burning candles.
Stop using your candle when approximately 10mm of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. Never allow the candle to burn completely to the base.
Most importantly, enjoy the ritual light it, slow down and let your home tell its story.
Room Mist Safety
Our room mists are designed to add a beautiful layer of fragrance to your home. A few spritzes are all you need.
Spray into the air, away from your face and body. Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes and do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Always spray away from naked flames, heat sources and delicate or polished surfaces. Take care around hard floors, as any settled mist may make surfaces slippery.
Our room mists are intended for fragrancing the air and should not be used directly on fabrics, furnishings or bedding unless the product specifically states that it is suitable for this purpose.
Please refer to the individual product label for fragrance-specific safety and allergen information, and dispose of the contents and container in accordance with the instructions provided.
